Kids Coding Program
This program is about giving access and necessary tools to Black kids in the US and across the globe. The Black community is known to as the most underrepresented ethnic group in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
As Black parents, it is imperative that we invest in our children within STEM the same way we invest in them with sports such as football and basketball.
It’s essential that Black children have people they can admire as role models in the Tech industry. This can be achieved if we pave the road for Black people within the Tech industry to engage and connect with children from under-represented communities, introducing them to various aspects of technology like coding, and making it accessible and fun.
Therefore, it’s more important than ever to make sure that every Black kid has access to Tech programs.
